Rob Supplit (Managing Director)
After graduating in 1989, Rob worked in a variety of roles ranging from design to operational management, to project management in Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales. His early career was focussed on mining infrastructure and operations. Later he moved into the civil design and construction field and has successfully managed projects up to $16M. Rob has worked as both Superintendent and Contractor's representative in a wide range of civil projects including industrial pavements, wetlands, landfills, subdivisional projects, marina construction, pipelines and pump stations, road construction, dams and canals.
Alan Cross (Principal Engineer)
Alan founded Crossco Consulting Pty Ltd in 1985 after employment in the contracting, municipal and consulting sectors. Alan has developed a strong and diverse professional engineering practice. His experience is across all areas of civil infrastructure, with a particular focus and interest in design outcomes that promote positive environmental outcomes and community health. Alan resigned as Managing Director in 2015.
Stephen Gibbons (Director and Senior Design Engineer)
Stephen commenced with Crossco in 1996 as a Design Engineer and become a Director in 2004. He has carried out detailed infrastructure design and documentation for land subdivisions, canal developments and a range of Council projects and been involved in contract administration and project management. He has also undertaken design of landfill cells in Bairnsdale and Koonwarra. This work was in accordance with EPA Victoria’s Best Practice Environmental Management guidelines.
Andrew Gibbons (Director and Senior Design Engineer)
After graduating in 1991 Andrew undertook a graduate training program with East Gippsland Shire, and then moved to a site engineer’s role with an East Gippsland based civil construction contractor. Andrew commenced with Crossco in 1997 as a Design Engineer and become a Director in 2004. He has carried out detailed infrastructure design and documentation for land subdivisions, canal developments and a range of Council projects and been involved in contract administration and project management.
Margaret Supplitt (Project Manager and Director)
Margaret’s 20 years professional experience includes employment in local and state government organisation, as well as the mining industry with BHP, a mining engineering consulting business and property development. After spending her childhood in East Gippsland Margaret completed a B Eng which resulted in employment as a graduate engineer with a municipality, then later with the EPA (Victoria) undertaking assessment and enforcement work. An opportunity to relocate and work in a mine in Central Queensland with BHP followed, and then work with a mining consultant based in the Hunter Valley. After relocating back to Victoria Margaret worked in the property development sector, before joining the team at Crossco Consulting.
Ryan Cross (Director and Civil Engineer)
Ryan came to Crossco in 2009 with 5 years of experience in the industry. With previous employment in private consulting firms in Melbourne and the UK Ryan came to Crossco with strengths in land development and also WSUD. Since commencing with Crossco his skill set has diversified. Along with continuing in a design capacity, his day to day work today includes construction administration, construction management and project management.
Ashlee Dixon (Draftsperson)
Ashlee came to Crossco in 2007 as a Trainee Draftsperson. She has completed a Diploma in Engineering Technology (Civil) and is one of the Senior Drafting Technician with Crossco. Ashlee’s strengths are her attention to detail and AutoCAD skills which translate into a set of easy to read design drawings.
Anne–Maree Mason (Draftsperson)
Anne-Maree has over 19 years’ experience in the civil, building and construction industry, including construction management, tendering, contract documentation, project management, OH&S & environmental management systems and traffic management system. She has completed a Diploma in Engineering Technology (Civil) and is one of the Senior Drafting Technician with Crossco.
